NAME: Yemoja lemaya
Yemoja (also spelled Yemaya or Iemanjá) is indeed the beautiful sea goddess in Yoruba mythology and various Afro-Caribbean traditions. She's often depicted as a powerful, nurturing, and protective mother figure, watching over the oceans, rivers, and children.
Yemoja is associated with fertility, love, and the cycles of life, death, and rebirth. Her domain includes the sea, waves, and all the creatures within. She's celebrated for her ability to heal, comfort, and empower those who seek her guidance.
In some traditions, Yemoja is also linked to the moon, further solidifying her connection to the mysteries of the ocean's tides and the feminine principle.
