it works at oppo reno 5 by your method sir, thank you very much 1. removed the sim tray with memory card 2. go to settings>app management>app list 3. search "file manager" 4. go to file manager>storage usage, then click "clear data" 5. exit the setting, then restart the phone 6. after the restarted, insert the sim tray with sim card and memory card and after that, it works now

I nearly thew it away but something said, just go on KZbin and see if there is a video to help. I clicked on your video and I thank God I did, your video was spot on and I followed your steps to the letter and now I have all my photos back, thank you so much brother for your help. I will add one thing in case people don't see the show system apps, when you go to apps and click the three dots, depending on what version of android you have, the show system apps won't be there, instead what you have to do, is click on the three vertical lines to the right, where it says your apps, with the arrow pointing downwards and then the option to show system apps will be visible. I meannnn... encryption doesn't work like that ..try hooking it up to a computer with work around software. Even then a bit of a lost cause... ESPECIALLY if U don't even have the phone anymore.

Hi guys, whosoever was not able to get the data still after this process, same happened with me, i tried everything but still it didn't happen, so what i did was i bought a card reader and inserted the sd card in it and then connected it to the laptop and you won't believe everything was visible inside the sd card in my laptop then i copied everything into my laptop, hope so it will help you, just in case if this also didn't work then pls try to use different card reader and different laptops ,i hope then it will work. I've tried several steps but it didn't work! So my last option was to safely removed my SD Card to my device and i installed it with my Samsung galaxy J2 SM-J200GU and the SD card was detected. I decided to reformat the card and everything in it was erased. Then I put it back to my Vivo phone again and hola the phone detected back again the 256GB SD Vivo Card. That's it guys!

If you move the apps to sd card the apps wont be able to work properly because apps has a fully functional system to the internal storage of your phone so dont do move the apps on sd card its unsafe this is base on my experience..
