I've learned so much from your videos thank you. Your cakes are always beautiful along with your decorations. But what I've really learned isn't necessarily the cake decorating itself. I have learned the discipline of organization, planning, having the correct tools and patience. I find the planning stage that you use to be essential. I can see in my mind's eye what I want to make now and then go from that plan to what I can really do, there's usually a big difference. The decorating part will come with practice but starting off with good building blocks is the key to early success Thank you very much You are truly a wonderful chef.

I worked in a bakery for a few years and when I had children, I decided to stay at home. When I first saw the cake, I assumed it was airbrushed because that's what I would have done. Wow, love this design!! I tried to use this technique to create a butterfly effect almost a year ago, after I saw your first video. My project was messy and I sized it all wrong, but I am proud of myself that I got vaguely close as to how to create the various elements. At least I was in the ballpark - lol.
