[ 영어 연습가이드

단어 하나하나는 쉽지만 조금씩 다르게 문장 속에 쓰이면서 말로 할 때 발음이 꼬이고 의미도 헷갈리는 경우가 많다. 이번 강의에서는 그 중에서 우리가 반드시 구사할 수 있어야 하는 표현을 몇 가지 배워봅니다 :

Quite a few 느낌상 적다는 뜻인듯 한데, 오히려 반대로 많다는 뜻이군요. Quite (꽤) 가 붙으면서 a few (약간) few(거의) 의 늬앙스가 바뀐건가요?

But some of the ones that are coming out later this year look pretty interesting. I've played quite a few mobile games so far this year. Not many of them were particularly great. Only a few of them were pretty good. Most of them were below average, I would say. Most of them were average, I’d say (내 생각에는) Some of the ones(몇몇은) that are coming out later this year look pretty good. I’ve gathered quite a few board games since I moved here. A few of them were very fun. Not many of them were particularly well-made. Some of the ones that my friend have looks really fun. I hope we can play together someday.

안녕하세요, 정말 훌륭한 영어강의 잘 듣고 있습니다. 감사드립니다! 제가 자주 쓰고 싶은 문장이 있는데 어떻게 써야 맞는건지 잘 몰라서 쓰지를 못하고 있어요. 요것도 좀 가르쳐주시면 고맙겠습니다. 질문의 요지는 "...하면 할 수록......한다."를 어떻게 영어로 표현할 수 있나요? EX: 나이가 많은 사람일수록 스마트폰을 자주 바꾸지 않는다. 돈이 많으면 많을수록 겸손해야 한다. 잘 사는 사람일수록 타인과의 공감능력이 떨어진다고 한다. 공부를 하면 할수록 더 어려워 진다.

선생님-! Get 이랑 have 의 차이도 시간 나실때 부탁드려요 ㅠㅠ I have my nails done at salon. 인줄 알았는데 get my nails done 이라고요. 그리고 I didn’t get the message and I didn’t have the message 와 같은 미묘한 차이도 잘 모르겠어요 ㅠㅠㅠ예전에 뉴욕가서 미술관에 갔는데 메세지를 받아서 인증하는 과정이 있었는데 그때 I didn’t get the message 라고 했더니 얘가 무슨말 하는거지? 란 표정을 짖더라구용

Get have 차이는 사역 part4편 있습니다. 간단하게 말씀드리면 have는 과정에 집중, get은 결과에 집중한다고 해요. 그리고 때가 되면 누구나 하는 것들에 대해서는 get을 쓴다고합니다. 그럼 20000000

마지막 문장에서 the ones 라는 대명사가 있는데....ones가 복수형인데...앞에 the를 쓸수 있는 이유가 궁금합니다. the, that, those, this, these 차이도 궁금합니다.

the는 명사의 단수 복수에 상관없이 쓸 수 있어요. the를 절대 쓰면 안되는 명사들이 있으니 검색해보세요~

이미 영화 출시가 확정된 일이므로 현재진행형으로 가까운 미래를 표현합니다. 현재진행형을 안 쓰고 미래시제를 쓰려면 이 문장에서는 "will" 보다 "be going to" 가 더 맞을듯 합니다.
