1. get something pp - 하나의 표현으로 생각 get work done = 할 일을 하다, 일을 하다 ex) get my phone fixed get my hair cut get some food delivered ex) I usually try to get to work a little earlier than I have to just so I can get some extra work done before the day starts. ex) There’s always some construction going on in this area and the noise make it impossible to get any work done. 2. early mornings - 반복적인 아침 3. go over - review(검토하다)의 casual표현 ex) Oh, I’m sorry. I’m late. Have you been waiting long? No, it’s OK. I was just going over some things we’re going to talk about today. -> 이 문맥에서 ‘정리하다’로 해석하는게 자연스러움 4. procrastinate - 문장에서 쓰이는 방식이 너무 다양 - 할 일이 있는데 단순히 귀찮고 하기 싫어 서 다른 생각하면서 안하는 이미지 ex) ... things that we’ve been procrastinating on -> 이 문맥에서는 ‘미루다’로 해석하는게 자연스러움 -> 문맥과 이 단어의 이미지를 연결하면서 해석 push back, postpone은 일정을 미루는 이미지 5. be distracted - 문맥에 따라 다양하게 해석이 될 수 있음 - 무엇 때문에 내 할 일에 집중 못하고 방해를 받는 이미지 ex) ... We are constantly distracted by news and communication -> 뉴스와 사람들간의 소통에 의해 우리가 해야 될 일을 신경 못쓰고 방해를 받아 집중력이 흐트러지 는... 6. lose sight of - forget과 유사한 의미 - forget은 ‘잊어버리다’와 ‘잊다’ 둘 다 lose sight of은 ‘잊다’ - 뭔가를 하다 과정에 심취해 집착하게 되면 서 내가 그것을 왜 시작했는지, 방향성, 의 미 등을 잊는 이미지

I 've been procrastianating on watching part 2 of " benefit" . but finally I watched this whole videos and went over the teaching points that he explained . I found out I really benefited from this lesson. I totally agree with what he said. procrastinate, be distracted 등의 어휘 설명하시는 것 처럼, 단순히 어휘의 뜻만 딱 알려주는 게 아니라 그 상황과 문맥과 뉘앙스를 자세히 설명해주시는 게 정말 독보적인 것 같아요. 그 어떤 강의에서도 이런 설명은 듣지 못했거든요. 그래서 말씀하셨듯이 늘 '미루다'이면 이걸 써야하나? 저걸 써야하나? 이런 상황이 자주 벌어지는 것이고요. 앞으로도 이렇게 정확한 뉘앙스 설명을 잘 해주시면 정말 좋을 것 같아요. 늘 감사합니다~

What makes LA the best is to have changed the way I think about language itself since I watched the very first lecture here. I considered a language as a tool to pass job interviews. Anyway, what I realized today watching the lecture is "there is no definition but usages, when it comes to talking about vocabulary words or any expression" I know that is a little bit exaggerated but only focusing on every single definition of words will likely make you a dictionary. Oh... I'm not a person who likes to show off but I wanna pat myself on the back for saying something in English. I know I am making a bunch of grammatical errors! But I couldn't have even imagined this if I had not met 'LA'. Thanks a lot !!!!

5. be distracted 설명하실 때 말씀하신 부분 정리해봤습니다. * continuously : non-stop / 끊김없이 계속 / 멈추지않고 ex) I can't run for more than 4 min continuously. * continually : 멈췄어도 다시 계속 / 자꾸 반복 ex) This database is updated continually. * constantly : 일정하게, 항상, 빈번하게, 일상적으로 / ex) Fashion is constantly changing. * consistently : 매번, 일관적으로 / 예외없이 일관되게 ex) Morgan Stanley has decided to switch its suppliers as Pemex has been consistently late in filling its orders. * steadily : 꾸준하게, step by step / gradually * persistantly : 끈덕지게 / 고집스럽게 틀린부분 있거나 이밖에 자주쓰이는 표현이 더 있을까요? 피드백해주시면 감사하겠습니다!!

The two days after tomorrow, I should get to work earlier than I used to. So that I can go over the options to be settled on and we should find benefits of each options from the meeting. Especially on Mondays, I put extra effort to arrive at my workplace early alike this. The reason why the meeting arranged is that on last Friday, all of a sudden, I fell necessity of stop procrastinating some of work. We've been procrastinating calling a meeting so the first follow up was postponed. So I sent out the proposal but I don' think that made sense to her enough. As a result, she arranged a meeting to clarify.
