Edd "Rocky Balboa " Budd! When you said at mile 10 or 11 to give you that extra spark foward, you drew inspiration from visualizing your son. That was special. Top effort Edd. I did the Rutland Spring Half at the weekend. Even more elevation believe it or not. 804ft according to the organisers. Gorgeous views all round though. The only real killer was the two hills right at the end. Puma Deviate Nitro Elite for me. I worried how they'd be in the rougher sections of the course but they were flawless. I was only 9s off my pb. With that elevation and two weeks after covid I was pretty chuffed.

Well done, seems like a decent performance given the elevation and the warm conditions. As for the Abbey Road medley, that was basically quite a few songs that they hadn't quite got around to finishing that they just strung together. It meant they could finish the album then get on to more pressing matters (that is, splitting up ☹️). There is a version on KZbin somewhere where Her Majesty is stuck in the middle, as originally planned. Doesn't feel quite right.

Great finish time for a course with so much elevation!
