I can not tell you how much I appreciate your POSITIVE attitude and perseverance!!!! NO matter how gnarly the trail, you don't complain- you just hike and look for the good in the day/trail. It is one of the reasons I watch you every day!!! Being 'real' and positive is a blessing. Carry on friend! You are so close now

This 71 yold grandfather likes your attitude Jack not a lot of whining just deal with it and keep going. Wishing you God's favor on your journey. From the hills of West Virginia along the Ohio river thanks for letting me tag along.

So much vibrant beauty in this video. The rain made the colors pop out, all shades of green and brown and grey, and some wildflowers added in as well. Awesome, wet, cloudy day. Great hiking!

Yep, the Wizard of Oz is one of my all time favorites. Another awesome video. It's amazing how you take a dismal day and turn it into a perfect day to hike the AT. Thanks again for bringing us along on this epic journey.

I've not been able to get your music out of my head this week! And in this video I actually thought I smelled the fir trees. Honestly, it's just like we're there, except you're doing all of the hard work. Thanks for bringing us through Maine, a state I've only just touched the surface of, but will probably never be able to go back. I definitely feel like I'm right there with you.

I absolutely have...I also once lived in Baton Rouge at two different times in my life. In the Carolinas now, but really have enjoyed "Jack's" video journal. Just the right degree of personal dialogue, but MOSTLY focusing on beautiful Trail scenery and conditions. Too many AT Thru-Hiker's videos are like one long selfie...too much "jabbering."

I can stay the same (for watching all the videos) but we're from NC and VA now in Georgia.

You're slaying the trail, dude. Great job. The only thing worse than tracking on rocks, is hiking on rocks in the rain. Stay safe & Peace to you.

I love hearing the forest sounds! I also like the sound of you steps crunching on the leaves and such. Relaxing .

Man, that section of trail was intense! 16:41 looked almost like an abstract painting for a moment. What the heck is that stuff at 19:15? Looked like Spanish Moss, but I thought that was just way down south? Weird stuff.
🚶👟👟⛺🌞 look at Captain Jack that's making these awesome great videos so much detail getting closer and closer stay safe Louisiana mountain Man and happy hiking 💯💪🏆🏆🏆🏆

Another day, just keeps getting better. I like the looks of Maine the best so far. Safe hiking, not much left. Will you double back and hit the Smokies?
