My husband was also diagnosed with the same thing. You probably already know this but you are in very good hands !!! His tumor was on the top of his kidney so Mayo decided to to the cauterization to kill the tumor. His treatment worked on the first go. He’s now been cancer free for almost 4yrs. Rochester has been so good to my husband! He has his yearly scan in a 3 months. He is also pain free too. The tumor caused a tremendous amount of pain. I’m so sorry you guys are dealing with this again. I’ll be praying all goes well and once the kidney is removed, you’ll never deal with cancer again 🙏❤

I had my left kidney removed 10 years ago for the same type of cancer and I am still cancer free! No treatments! My Nephrologist Oncologist said that if I had to get cancer, this was the type to get! The tumor had not penetrated my kidney and had not spread to any lymph nodes or anywhere else. I have done fine with only one kidney! You will be fine!

Kidneys are soooo very vascular it makes sense for the entire thing to be removed instead of trying to cut part of it off and stop the rest of it from bleeding excessively.

I used to watch you guys several years ago quite often. The other day I was in prayer before our Eucharistic Lord in my hermitage. Brian came to my heart and mind very strongly and I was prompted to pray for him. I asked another sister if she remembered the name of your channel and she told me. I am 6 mos post nephrectomy due to clear cell renal cell carcinoma. Getting scans next week for my follow up. I do have a small spot on my liver that is being monitored but was staged as stage 2 due to the size. They didn’t do a biopsy because of the risk of cell spreading. I had to wait for 6 weeks from scans to surgery due to scheduling of the surgeons ugh

My doctor said the same thing about doing a biopsy on my kidney, the benefits DID NOT outweigh the risks of spreading the cancer. They could tell by the scan it was clear cell renal carcinoma. I’m so glad he followed the latest statistics and advised against it. Coming up on 3 yrs in June. I only wish my brother had had my doctor, unfortunately he died from the same disease.

I also have Clear Cell. They removed my right kidney last month at the Chicago VA Jesse Brown. Excellent care! I am currently getting IV infusions to boost my immune system. That's every 3 weeks for a year, plus cat scans and CTs every 2 to 3 months. Keep your head up!

I just love yall, and i am one of your more quiet subscribers. I hate that you all have to go through all of this. I know you are even more positive about this than me, and i even think you will beat this, but it really sucks that you both had to go through this. I sadly have metastatic stage 4 breast cancer and have had it for a year at least been diagnosed for a year. I kept getting better and better then all of a sudden like 3 days after normal blood tests some bad things shot up so high i have to go back in a week from now to check these levels again to find out if i have gotten worse. I was plant based since 2015, and i rebelled after getting sick. I have since been trying to go all organic plant based, but i cant the prices have just skyrocketed and can't fund everything in organic anyway. But, trying and i really dont know why it is so hard this time. Well, i know you will beat this and think of you all always! Please keep us informed as best you can. If you have good days, post some encouragement if possible. You dont realize that helps the rest of us so much. I pray your pain lessens more and more every day! Get your rest, and know we are all behind you. 😢 love yall!

I also have kidney cancer. It was found when I have my work up for appendectomy. It is 6.5cm, so stage 1B, and it is interpolation, like yours, so then entire kidney will be removed. My surgery is scheduled for June 18.
