How does this cartridge handle inner groove distortion?

It's only an eliptical diamond, so not as accurate as line contact or shibata, but if care and attention is paid to alignment then it's pretty good. I would say there's a very slight deterioration as the stylus reaches the innermost grooves, especially on older records which tend to have more grooves nearer the centre of LPs, but if the Opus is set up optimally then it's barely noticeable.
