The "shutter" in the windows section isn't actually a shutter. It is a whole window with its shutters closed. I functions as a normal window, which is why you can't place it right next to other windows.

I'm not sure if this is the right term but this build looks Colonial to me. Modernised but retaining the older style. Whatever it is I like it a lot and that pool is beautiful. If you really want a challenge, how about base game and no debug items? That would be 'tricky' for the tricky lady. ;-) I can't believe people have got shell builds up already. I know many people aren't at work/school but do they ever sleep?

Amazing Kate! I do have a comment. I notice that in many of your builds you place the kitchen sink outside of the focus of the kitchen. I'm not sure if maybe that is a German kitchen style or something but I am more familiar with the rule that the kitchen sink should always be close to the kitchen stove as both are essential to the other and for quick response time in case of a fire emergency. I love your builds!

Thank you for the feedback, I've never really thought much about it. I only make sure most of the time to place the sink near the dishwasher so it's a bit more realistic! I will keep this in mind for the next build :)

This is such a beautiful build! The shutters in the window menu are supposed to be regular windows but with closed shutters, i think theres a variant of the same window with no shutters, open shutters, and that one with closed shutters

I agree with the objects. They look so old or too odd and clunky, lol. I wish they would make more modern realistic furniture. Especially the coffee tables, they're so huge.

I mostly like to free play or build. Im not that great lol but anyway I downloaded this because I thought it would fun for my sims to have like house parties and like one of those movie weddings. It is just amazing, haven't done much in it yet but I even ended up have like the perfect family, which I didn't even plan. I didn't know what build I was gonna use. lol I've got mom and dad and three girls one young adult and 2 teens. I had to edit the 2 kids rooms a bit but that was it. I love it and can't wait to see what happens next! Also I am fairly new to your channel and I love it all. I grew up on Barbie, downloaded all those I could find. lol

3 questions, how did you get those boards to be slanted in the beginning, and how is your dragging of objects so fluid, is it a mod that allows you to do that? and how did you do the copy/paste trick?

The boards are a base game debug object and they are already slanted/at an angle. :) If you want to move objects without them snapping to the grid (Fluid motion) holt down Alt! :) For copying debug objects you can use the T.O.O.L. mod, for copying normal objects simply hold down Shift! :)
