I was an installer and salesman and iasca an alarm from some of the Giants in car audio like Richard Clark the only thing that blows speakers is distortion or just directly sorting them out

Just had these exact same speakers (Hertz MPK 165.3 and MPX 165.3) installed in a 2016 Accord along with a Kenwood DNX994S. Sounds great! Next up, installing an Audiocontrol LC-4.800 amp!

I love Hertz. I have their 3 way Mille system in my car and love it. Incredible sound.

@Sonny Valentyne In my opinion, yes. I have not heard the Flax 3 ways. I can only compare them to the K2 which is what I was going to buy before I heard the Hertz.

NICE !! I have a 2008 Chevy Silverado 1500 vortec Max. Ive been trying to decide if the MLK 165.3 milli legend is worth the extra $250 over the MPK 165.3 MILLI PRO’s . I’ve been on the fence for almost a month now. I’m going to use the same rear coax speakers In my truck also . Im running a JL slash 450/4 amp to run them .

Noob question.......when installer was checking polarity he said he had green all the way and yet I saw the red go off. I'm going to go ahead and assume it's supposed to do that, I'm just wondering why.
@Oscar_Hdz6 жыл бұрын
Possible beginner’s question... but why do you set a 5 or 10db on the amp? Is that just for the highs amp or for the bass amp too? Last question lol when do you want to use either a 5 or 10db? Thanks a lot guys!!! Great install.
@Ghost_R6_5 жыл бұрын
Dude. I only wish that there were installers of your quality in my area. And also it blows my mind that I take such pride in my vehicle. And these yahoos that bring their cars to you guys are always sitting on Factory hubcaps or dirty or the insides full of junk LOL. Never would I ever take my vehicle to get stereo equipment installed without it being customized in some way and completely immaculate. It's like going to the dentist without brushing your teeth for a month. It's like getting a boob job then wearing nothing but sweatshirts🤔🤔🤔🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐

Thanks this is gonna help me ally when i sound deadeing my doors this weekend.i need those fast rings do they make a difference?.. alpine 6.5 components up front coaxial back doors. Alpine 300.4
@frankthetankricard6 жыл бұрын
They improve the sound for sure but by how much depends on your car and equipment. Since the only downside to using them is the price, I'd say if your components are not the cheapest ones alpine makes then it's probably worth the money to add the rings. You can also get great improvements from sealing all the holes in your door with preferably rigid material to give your speakers a sealed enclosure. Even Roadkill works great for this. But this would mean ditching the factory vapor barrier and sacrificing easy access to components in the door when repairs are needed.

Set Lowpass on radio to 80 and sub to 80. If you radio has slope you can adjust that to your liking. If you want to set up distortion limits on the cheap, check this guy out. kzbin.info/www/bejne/onLRZYp9o95gnac

How much would a job like this cost???? Also if you wanna know like me like the comment to show interest
@UKSportsFan6 жыл бұрын
It really depends on the hourly rate that the shop charges, as well as how long it takes for them to get the job done. I've had shops quote me $65 per hour up to $95 per hour for installation work (not including any mounting brackets or parts the shop will create or use separately). Most of the time I've found the quotes are somewhere in the middle ($75 to $80). Also, some shops will put one guy on the job while others will have 2 guys doing the work, which will affect the labor time. I had basically the exact same work in this video done recently and it was around a 4 to 5 hour job at the shop that did the work.
