Yes is a awesome band Jon Anderson has the voice of a angel, words can't describe Rick Wakeman the best keyboard player ever. I worked for a records co in Phila and was given a press pass, and as I was taking pictures of Rick he invited me to go up on stage with him while he set up his keyboard before the concert started he brought me a beer and we talked. Greatest man I have had the pleasure to meet Best night of my life

I've seen this concert over the years here on YT, but never realized until now that the acoustic Chris is playing at 1:52 is a Rickenbacker, very cool!

1975 seems like they were simpler times - when you're 16 it always is.

Excellent version of Mood for a Day. Just exquisite and on nylon string. And very well paced. I don't like it too fast and Steve has performed too fast on numerous occasions I've heard or watched him perform it but this is exactly the pace I love it at. Thank you, Steve! Hope the bad one day finds the masters for this show and releases it commercially.

In all fairness, looks like he was coming from backstage. Back then, the keyboards were very touchy & unreliable; plus getting a good stage mix for a group like Yes was a very difficult task. Good chance he either went to consult with keyboard tech or monitor engineer. Or maybe he just had to take a whizz?

What guitar is Steve playing? Is it the Masaru Matano he supposedly bought in 1973 during Japan tour? or a Ramirez 1A?
@archlutesmith3 жыл бұрын
I think its a kohno

Yes, you're possibly right, not a Matano but a Kohno.

Fire the sound man....horrible mix.

It's a bootleg from the monitor desk- mostly Steve's mix, not the front of house. Elsewhere from this gig you'll hear instantaneous and dramatic changes in balance- as the monitor engineer switches between the different musician's mixes.
