Even though this is likely my favorite Yes album … it’s almost comically impenetrable. It’s no wonder Wakeman bailed but wow … this was out in deep space and I love it. Total indulgence.

I absolutely love this album- and we saw the first ( of two) nights at the Spectrum in Philly. The second night the’blow-ups broke down and they only played two songs instead of all four.

This is truly amazing, I can't thank you enough for posting. I WAS at the Montreal Forum on that date part 1 was filmed and man did I enjoy and cherish that show. I've seen Yes fifteen times after that but still consider this one as a standout and highest achievement for the band.

The TALES Show would be my 1st of x 10 YES Concerts. Still Ranks as my BEST of them all. Date of my show was on 2/16/74 (Evening Show) @ the Spectrum Phila PA. Was lucky to hear all of CTTE & TALES played Straight Through. One of only 18 Show in '74 to hear the full set in US. PS: Got an added Bonus in '74 getting the RELAYER Show @ MSG, NYC on 11/20/74 and witnessing Rick do his JOURNEY/SIX WIVES Show, also @ MSG on 10/14/74. This made '1974 "The YEAR of YES" . It was a PERFECT Start to my YES Journey!!

It sucks how difficult it can be to find live footage of a lot of bands of that era. One of the ones that bothers me most is the lack of Pink Floyd footage. Despite how massive they were in the 70s, there is almost no professionally shot footage of them in that era. Theres footage of them in the late 80s and onward, and theres a surprising amount of 60s footage, but almost nothing from their golden age

It was '76. I was there one of those nights. Chris Squire mentions that it was filmed in an interview but he was never able to track down the film.

My very first live concert ever (March 10, 1974 in Memphis, TN) and first of a dozen times to see what became my favorite band.......I have the audio recording from that night, but have never seen video from the tour. This is great!

This is fab. Thanks. I don't know about anyone else but this is the first Tales tour footage I've seen. Surely it would be worth someone clever than me (you?) to fill the cuts in video with graphics so we get a "whole show" experience. I'd watch that. Topographic Oceans!; if I'm wrong I don't want to be right.

Yeah I wish The Ancient and Remembering were played more following this tour or that they would’ve played a Tales Medley with 5-7 minutes of each song played instead of just Revealing Science or Ritual…

@@dukealbert7017 The only instance of these songs being played after Tales is Forgotten Yesterdays marking The Remebering in the set for Charleston, WV and Johnson City, TN in 1976 and of course Leaves Of Green (ending of The Ancient) being played on multiple occasions, which is sad.

This was my 1st concert. My older brother had big fight with his girl friend so he took me instead. It was Valentines day at Nassau Collison ON Long island. And it was love at first sight and. 25 or more concerts later. Still my all time favorite band. I remember everyone crapping all over Tales and Relayer when they came out . Saying there was to much going on. Supposedly Gfto in 1977 was there big comeback. Now they're considered masterpieces. That goes to show you that they were a head of there time. There is a bootleg from the show I saw. The sound isn't that great but I can't stop listening to it. It it brings back so many memories. Great job.

I saw them April 11th 1974 in Frankfurt Germany. I was 15 and my first concert.😊 All I really remember was Rick in that shimmering gold robe. Also the thing above the drummer was shaped sorta like a ladybug and started glowing and opened up like wings and released a bunch of butterflies or something like that. Was hoping it showed that in this video.
