Hey! Great stuff... I've owned 2 sets of Simms stocking foot waders now (Freestone and Tributary) i only got 2 yrs outa each. Even after repairs on each set. Right at the seams in the knees and the also at the seams at the top of the socks. Bought my Orvis I have now 3 yrs ago and not even had to patch em yet... knocking on my head 😉😁 Good show mate!

Thats awesome, about your Orvis waders and getting 3 years. I am going to slowly start saving up and hopefully get a pair of patagonia or something with a "lifetime" warranty

Think u might have pee'd a bit 😉 🤣 Patagonia look like they make a nice product. Their flagship is also only 75% of the cost of the Orvis and Simms flag models. Don't know about their warranty... perhaps going to do some homework on that also🤙👍

hi Maritime Outdoors, I'm Alex, from Italy and I've ordered Simms Tributary waders including boots a few days ago; after seeing your review I was a little discouraged because I thought I had made a good purchase, on the other hand €400 is a lot for me, we make many sacrifices to buy the objects of our passion and I thought that Simms is a warranty of quality. By the way I just have to try them as soon as they arrive and hope for the miracle that there are no leaks. From what I have read on the various fly fishing forums, however, it seems to me that there are no brands of waders free from defects and leaks, regardless of the cost, but I can tell you that I bought a couple of DAM waders, there I have used it 2 times and no water enters for now, I paid them €80; I still wanted to buy the Simms, let's hope so, thanks for your review, I'll let you know, bye bye!

I think their QC has gone downhill over the past few years, my G3s lasted 8 years of duck hunting and wintertime inshore fishing without leaks. Sent them in for pinholes and have had them 2 more seasons of duck hunting. Was just about to order another set of the updated G3s because I’m tired of waiting for Grundens to release their Gore-Tex waders. I’ll report back on how well the new style holds up

I've had my tributarys replaced 3 times under warranty in the last year they obviously know about the product, fair play to Edinburgh angling centre 👍 excellent customer service. By the way theese waders don't like cottens underneath

Flex seal spray. Believe it or not. It worked for me

I have a pair also and they leak in the bootie? Very dissapointed! I bought some aqua seal and hopefully that will fix them?

@@Maritime2020Outdoorssaludos bro, el problema está en la costura, lo ideal es calentar la costura con una plancha, hacer presión y dejar secar eso reiniciará la acción del pegarte y sellará la costura por un tiempo. Luego si vuelve a filtrar por hay lo ideal sería calentar de nuevo con la plancha retirar el pegante viejo y aplicar un pega te nuevo (aplica una capa de pegante gruesa)dejar secar sin unir luego unir calentar con la plancha hacer presión u dejar secar por 24 horas u tendrás un Wader que te durara por mucho tiempo hay esta el hack mi amigo en las costuras. La membrana de los waders es muy buena pero simms está dejando su código de obsolescencia programada impreso en sus costuras para que no duren y tengamos que comprar otros waders saludos campeón espero te valla muy bien en la reparación yo lo hice y ando bien seco en días de pesca.

Would have thought Simms would have better customer service. Trib model is the lowest but they should still take care of their customer. I was just about to purchase Simms G3 but now I am thinking Orvis, Patagonia, Froggtoggs, etc... There are many brands out there.

I bought a pair of Tributary waders and the fuckin' things are full of holes! They didn't last more than a few trips.

I don't know where the damage / leaking is exactly. I think I mentioned that I thought it was the seams or stitching.

just stop to buying the products from Simm. Their customer service and product Quailes are horrible.
