Always take screening reports with a grain of salt. Also, I appreciate your skepticism both ways on this topic, but I dont think those tea leaves really amount to anything. Maybe the trailer was delayed? Maybe it was re-edited? We still got a 2min30sec TEASER trailer 8 months before the movie is supposed to come out. That definitely doesn't read as late to me. Also, im sure any last minute changes to the trailer could easily be attributed to quality of the trailer(3rd parties cut this stuff together after all) it's very possible Gunn had some notes on the trailer. Also, they could have been taking advantage of more footage as it became available. As for the reshoots, it sounds like Gunn hasn't asked any of the cast back in for reshoots and has stated himself that the reshoots are just establishing shots. Like, exterior location shooting. Nothing is indicating critical issues with this movie.
