Well boba… if you look at Superman being contained, it appears that metamorpho is blinding the other person, so as you said he could have been containing Superman with a red sun or kryptonite, but he then decides to help Superman by changing the light to “natural” light or some kind of sun light to help strengthen Superman so he can save the day, cause metamorpho has discovered he has been deceived or just tired of being forced to do what he was doing to Superman.

This movie is basically if the Superman we all loved from our childhoods who inspired hope, and friendship, and optimism, was frozen in time and dropped into the world of 'The Boys' and he leads by example to do the right thing, in a time where positivity has become the new "punk." After Collider ended that show I started seeing him pop up in other nerd media like New Rockstars. For the Metamorpho shot with Superman in containment, I think they have Supes trapped underground cut off from sunlight. I think Metamorpho is using his powers to shower Clark’s cells in sunlight to help him escape.

That would be pretty cool if they synthesized green kryptonite and metamorpho was able to/realize that there are different types with different effects it has on Superman on the down low to help Superman after keeping that learned info to himself or only revealing certain different types and keeps the helpful ones to himself? There is so much going on I hope it doesn’t feel scattered and have a million things going on at once for almost three hours and they utilize the cameos/main cast/supporting roles/etc in a way that utilizes the plot and strengthens it instead of crumbling it

Yeah you can definitely see that the person behind supes in the container is metamorpho. Because the reflection of the guy looks like he is patchy- you know like how morpho is split into 4 colours patchy . Just my 2 cents

Unfortunately they have to commit to one cinematic batman as general audiences can't understand 2 Batmen at the same time. WB understands this and want to ride the success of The Batman. James Gunn also knows this and understands if he introduces another batman he'll be handicapped in Batman plots/characters by the existing Reeves iterations of Joker, Riddler, Penguin, Catwomen etc. Not to mention fan division that exists with snyder fans, imagine adding Reeves fan's to the mix with another Gunn Batman. I also feel DC is a little hesitant to pursue Elseworld stories after Joker 2. This Lobo casting is a win for the DCU. Announcing Pattison as the DCU Bat could also be a easy win for them in their new universe. Even tho i want The Batman to be its own thing, I believe If Superman is successful, the pressure from the execs for a merge could result in Reeves walking away from the project. Gunn and Pattison are already open to the idea but have respect for Matt's vision.

Also, my theory about the light emitting from Metamorpho's hands in the glass cube scene is that it's probably Yellow Sunlight, which we know is Superman's go-to source to regain lost energy. Also, I think the other figure shielding their face from the light is another imprisoned metahuman. I think the glass cubes are prison cells not just holding Superman, but several other Meta-humans as well. Again, amazing video and Happy New year! 🎊🦸🏾‍♂️💕

Regarding Mr Terrific, in the earlier part of the Geoff Johns JSA run, he sells his company to Batman, could be Maxwell Lord here instead but maybe with a controlling stake. Which would mean LordTech used to be Holt Industries/Terrifictech and thats why Michael is still a "leader" in regards to LordTech's funded team (will probably be the DCU's version of the Terrifics)

The world-building and connectivity is something I can't wait for the movies, series and animations to come all out in full gear. There's no doubt about that character being Ultraman as he is seen to be flying as he is fighting Supes cos I can see his full body suspending in mid-air. Supes is just trying to hold him to a halt. I know that there are two variations of Metomorpho's powers: 1) He can transform body parts into any element 2) he can only transform into elements his already contain. I was thinking of slightly adjusting metomorpho's power set so there is a balance. My idea is that Metomorpho's should be a combination of both. His default powers are that he can only transform into elements his already contain and if he wants to add any elements, he would have to consume/inject/inhale the specific element. This can be a useful story element in the Superman(2025) movie about experimentation and a way to not make him over-powered throughout the DCU.

cant help but wonder if what we are seeing is superman busting out of the preservers ship, guy gardner has been tracking him down because he's abducting sentient beings in his sector, planet to planet. superman gets taken busts out other beings/creatures get out superman wants to save them and rescue and return them, guy gardner kills them or gets in the way of this in some manner just trying to get the main mission completed and starro gets away onto the planet.

Ok Boba i think he was distracted by the Dragon/kaiju while Lex and the others enter the Fortress because his suit is burnt while he kneels over the robot. It's not burnt while he's laying in the snow. I think he leaves the other heroes during the kaiju fight and flies to the fortress. That's why Guy and the citizens are upset when he returns from the fortress to the Stagg building!

how i imagine lex's mindset is aligned with the movie gattaca. in the movie, jude law through himself in front of a car because he despite being peak human, he got a silver medal in swimming. meanwhile ethan hawke, an invalid, goes against all odds to achieve his dreams. luthor sees himself as hawke's character and superman as all of the valids. valids are already perfect, they're 100%. they cant get better. invalids, normal humans, have no limits.
