Worth noting that it took Sideous over 2 decades to build his Death Star and under 4yrs to make a semi-operational second one. Considering the similarities in scale of each space station? It's honestly astounding that it took Super Earth a little over a month & a half to build and staff one, all while simultaneously fighting on two warfronts.

To be fair, the empire had to also make and properly test a planet-destroying Lazer before even getting started on building the space station part of the death star. Plus with Galen erso constantly causing trouble I imagine most of the 20 years was just stalling and waiting because the empire sucked as a government lol. Meanwhile the glorious, prosperous, and entirely-unlike-the-empire Super earth is completely unified under managed democracy, with dedicated men, women, and children over the age of 7 working day and night on the DSS without stopping.

We’ve done spectacularly well with succeeding all of the DSS-related MOs (save for the late victory at Gacrux), meaning that this project wasn’t delayed a single time. In just 7 weeks, we’ve accomplished such a massive feat in allowing the DSS project to progress so quickly. All that’s left now is to give her some juice! Bravo, Helldivers! Bravo! This is where clans, and stratagems like the carpet bomb will be made available. If you look at those leak videos, the animation and models are completed a long time ago, it has been in the game files, just haven't been officially introduced to the live game yet with a lore. This includes the SEAF Troop Drop, vehicles that looks like Warthogs from Halo, and even a Stinger missile launcher, which is like the Spear but expandable.

SES Force of Science here, i am very proud of what all of you completed... i sadly, just joined the Helldivers 2 weeks ago because my Destroyer took longer to build as super earth was busy with taking care of the Gloom and Cyberstan and my destroyer was based upon an older prototype that needed to be upgraded to the new standards... but for that reason i studied the Beautiful history of Super Earth and our GLORIOUS feats in the Galaxy! On various dives I or my teammates rarely get shot out of nowhere by a sort of blue laser. At first we thought we got shot by a bot we just didnt see, but it was a blue shot. Bot lasers are all red. Also it has happened on bug planets too. The illuminate are already here, and their assassins are trying to take us out.

I'm honestly getting bored of these long story MO's. I wish AH would give us some sort of timeline into what's coming content wise with the actual GAME other than a Warbond. At least start teasing the Illuminate or something. I'm pretty much just waiting for them to get in the game to play again honestly. Going back and forth between 2 factions is getting annoying. Give us the vehicles, give us new statagems that AREN'T tied to MO's that take forever to show up. Hand us new support weapons faster. It's getting really draining waiting for this thing to finish while a black hole sits a jump or two away.
