Proof positive that they do understand what is being said. The police explained what the tourists had done wrong and they corrected their actions. Some of those people who just stare blankly at the police or pretend not to even hear them are just arrogant.

You’re right though about the pushing and shoving, after about the 3rd time I started standing my ground. It’s not that difficult to be polite and respectful.

Here in England ,we get regular documentaries ,on TV,showing Asian ,people respecting and honouring ,each other and ancestors,by bowing and burning incense etc.We are told that respect is a big deal .Then they come here ,and all heck breaks out ,with shouting and pushing ,and ignorance .WHY ?

In all fairness, tourists arent educated and aware of the regulations in other countries. Signs need to be clearly visible about respect, not touching the horse or guards, caution around scaring the horse etc.
