Rudolph showed us who john really was. What he did to become the man we see. The man in the high castle...

Coronel Rudolph Wegener is one of my favorite characters in the man in the high castle and even though **spoiler alert** he only lasted one season, you can feel his agony, the guilt he feels for having innocent blood on his hands, the lost of faith in an indoctrination based on fueling violence, hatred and racism. In my opinion, deep down, he was a good man, forced to go with the flow and believing that the cause he served was for a greater good, for a nation, but in the end, after all the blood was spilled, after millions dying, the burden of the ghosts of those tormented souls, tormented Wegener for the rest of his days. It could have been any of us if we were in his place

If indoctrination into racism was really that much of a truth, then germany wouldnt allow people "of color" to be treated equally. Unlike poor usa at that time... at least before the war came and everything turned to hell.

The Reich did nothing wrong and Rudolph is a weak-willed Wegener.
