Shadows sountrack is kinda' underrated. I remember back in the 2000's it was often accused of having a boring or uninteresting soundtrack. As an adult myself now I really can't see how people came to that conclusion. Granted there are some stage songs that aren't as immediately catchy as previous games, but between the vocal themes and stage themes like Sky troops this game has some downright classics.

Not only does Shadow the Hedgehog had a lot of ending/theme songs, each one of them is incredible in describing what Shadow felt at the end. Man, 2000's Sonic was peak, I miss those games. It does seems SEGA understood that and is going back with Frontiers/Shadow Generations, but we still need more time to be sure.

After SA1 from a graphical and control standpoint the games were a letdown, the Soundtracks always seemed to be excellent

​@shadowopsairman1583 the issue with the 2000s games was that they were stuck on weaker hardware, the ps2, the wii, only 2 games from that time period released on the modern consoles, one of them was 06, and the other was unleashed, i wasnt around for that time period but thats the conclusion i came to about it

we do need more time to be sure. i was ready to quit after Forces, and Frontiers honestly knocked me out of the water i was drowning in. Superstars, however, while i enjoyed it, felt 'just okay'. I want to see them continue to innovate on what they can do with high-speed gameplay, not stagnate.

Fun Fact: Sega isn't Sega anymore. It's Sega Sammy Holdings. It was bought and kept under wraps. It's a Japanese company who makes Pachinko machines or gambling. Most likely just wanted Sega's mascot, Sonic, to look more innocent and for their hardware expertise and likely why Sonic is more 'heroic' around the early 2000s, like around Sonic 06. They basically had no choice but to listen to them on Sonic's direction as that's where they get their money.
