the animations are so good!!! love these videos and this is especially a great one for one of my favorite sonic tracks here's the background vocals for 0:38 to 0:58 "Born on an island in the heavens / The blood of my ancestors flows inside me / My duty is to save the flower / From evil deterioration, yeah) also, after listening a few times, certain lyrics sound like this to me: 0:26: "Holdin', climbin' / He's searching for shining" ; i can't really think of what "hold the climate" exactly means, meanwhile holding [on] and climbing are quite literally what he does in the game. the mixing makes it hard for me to want to be sure though. 0:40: "Large pots of treasure make me feel much better" ; just how it sounds to me 0:48: "I don't wanna holdout, my passion observed" ; this makes a lot of sense to me because of the lines that precede and follow it. he's not going to hold himself back against rouge or eggman -- and he's been lonely all of his life anyway, so why should he care about doing no harm just to protect other people's feelings? no matter who you are, if you mess with him then he's going to deal with you.
