Henry was cast to die. He was a patient who started out as a patient who was dying and Teddy married him to get on her insurance. He ended up falling in love with her and then she felt the same way. They decided to stay together and then he died. Very sad

Like yes Izzie and Denny's situation was sad, but to be fair they ONLY interacted in the hospital, they didnt have their relationship outside of when he was admitted. they didnt even marry, just propose hours before the death. If their relationship happened like Teddy and Henry, it wouldve been so much more impactful feeling like this was with teddy

The thing that Owen didnt get, and likely still doesnt quite understand is that while Teddy was pissed Henry died, thats not why she was pissed at him specifically. She was pissed at Owen specifically because he came into the OR (or at least the doorway) and told her that everything was fine. All he had to do was send someone else to check on how long she would be and he wouldve been ok, but that wouldnt work for the story arc.
