Try biscuits and magic boots secondary, then get an early back to buy cull to prepare for a first item spike. Always go kraken > Bork unless you absolutely need bork. By the time, you finish Kraken, your cull and boots should be close to finished. You can be focusing on getting a cs lead and once completed, you will have a very nice power spike without having to force kills to get an early lead. Buy mr or armor boots over berserkers because berserkers is much lower value now and you need a defensive item, then you are free to rush stridebreaker/ie/sheildbow as you see fit.
