@god_of_the_universe7751 People in Africa particularly West Africa were Rapping way before. They were breakdancing back in Africa also. Do the research. This argument is so divisive to "blacks" all over the world who are creators of so many things. The guy Tariq Nasheed who coined the term FBA is divisive to the unity of black people all over in the diaspora. I give black Americans credit for creating Jazz, Blues, Rock and Roll etc. and also influencing Reggae but I don't believe Hip-hop was created solely by FBA. Kool Herc who was born in Jamaica, from the black diaspora was one of the creators of Hip-hop period.

@marcuschisolm34702 сағат бұрын
@ What he has done is precisely the topic of debate!! People want to know the true history from the fake. And exactly what “technicalities” are you referring to??
@GodmadeTrends2 сағат бұрын
@@marcuschisolm3470 there are no misconceptions. We all know who founded hip hop, other people participated in its inception. That’s all there is to it. FBA has more claim on Latin music which Latinos used melodies and chords from Dizzie Gillespie. Machito Afro Cubans was the first Latin Jazz band he used Dizzies band too. Latin jazz is bebop. The first international reggae hit was Johnny Nashs' "I can see clearly now" and all the early reggae pioneers including Bob Marley have stated that reggae came from "rock steady" which is a Jamaican form of rhythm and blues.
