Hi my loves. Oh how I missed you. So happy to be back state side. Cuba was amazing but I didn't even realize I was barely filming because we were just living in the moment. I hope you enjoy this video as much as we did Cuba. Thank you to Lancome for taking us to this journey. Thank you to all the Cuban people we met that made our trip that much better. Definitely a trip we will never forget.

My mom was born and raised in Cuba. I want to go back with her and visit so bad to see family members and where she was born and raised but she refuses to go there and give the government any money. She's always told me how when tourists go there to vacation, the government takes money and crops from the poor, families, and farmers in order to keep the vacationers happy and coming back. She said she refuses to do that to her people. Until the government is fair and the people are free, she won't go back. That's why this vlog makes me happy to be able to see and in a way experience Cuba, but it also makes me sad because I know that Lancome and all these other brands bringing all these youtubers there, it's taking money and food away from the Cuban people. Also, the horrible things my family had to go through there and the process of escaping and coming here to the US. It just breaks my heart. I don't want to give that government any of my money after knowing all the pain they put my family through and they still continue to put the Cuban people through. So sad. This past weekend was my brother's Memorial and on Sunday my mom's funeral. She and my dad have been married for 67 years happy years. She was 92 years old, my dad is 91 and all he wants is to be with my mom.
