I know some moms will say “get your baby used to X,Y,Z” BUT I literally plan everything around my son including his naps. Now that he’s older we will push it a bit BUT I still prioritize his needs over everything and I feel like that’s how it should be. I feel so seen watching this because the mom anxiety is real especially when the noise of the “sleep training” and other moms that did things “their way” gets pretty loud. We still do contact naps & I love that for us. Baby is 5 months now. Ours babies will always come first. ❤️

Yes amen!!!! All babies are different. I have Two and they are complete opposites. So my second I just let her do her own thing with sleep once she turned one she started officially sleeping g through the night. My first started sleeping through the night at 5mo lol. So really all babies are different. So that’s the best piece of advice forsure! Just go with the flow and focus on what works for your baby and your family lol I love seeing you as a mom!

Kai is getting so big! He is really cute, and he does move around a lot. I bet he will be walking before he's a year old. I was thinking about my sister and I while you were talking about how you didn't want children when you were younger. I wanted kids so badly when I was younger. But I never was fortunate enough to have any. Even though we tried. I'm 60 now and it's too late for me. My sister is younger and never wanted kids and now she has two teenage boys. You are so right in saying that babies will do what they want! My girl is 12.5 months, and she has been doing one nap a day for at least 2 months now. She transitioned to that all on her own. The pediatrician is even shocked when I tell them she sleeps 10 hours at night and 2 hours for her nap. That’s just what works for her!
