I'm in Wiscasset area for week. I saw at least 30 CMP trucks parked at the Hannaford this morning. On the way down, at least 12 trees across the road, 2 road closures, and half a dozen police with lights on.

The storm was absolutely no joke down here in MA - I’ve only lived in my house for two years, and have never seen the water level as high as it was. (We didn’t have a street. Or sidewalk. We had a proper enthusiastic stream, maybe even a baby river at points.)

Hopefully Jacob or his son one day will cat h Bowie again one day. I wondered why he didn't tag Bowie like that one they caught when he called the lady that tagged that lobster. I know they shed, but maybe another kinda of marking. ? Though I know Bowie is very very rare. He thrived good for a few days. I dont know how much they eat in a day or how often they sleep but, my guess is little sleep and eat constantly probably. I hope s/he is doing well.

My bro worked on a crab processing ship in the Bering Sea years ago. He told us about 60ft seas!! I'm glad he didn't tell us too much while he was actually out there bc my mom wouldn't have slept a wink!! The cabins are beautiful!!💕👏👍💯

Climate agitated higher seas are becoming a serious thing, some friends in Puerto Rico had buildings in their community that wasn't even shorefront washing away because of storm surge. It may be worthwhile if you can get the cottages up onto taller stilts as part of your future plans when you can afford it. Stay safe and congrats to you all!
