After years of searching for the 'key to life', I believe being present is it. That is where all our power lies. Not in the past or the future, one is a memory and one hasn't happened yet. It's amazing how simple yet complex it is to stay present, but it makes the most sense. I wish I would have learned that sooner.

Sadly, he passed away earlier this year, but he never stopped smiling or living life to the fullest. I'll miss you Noel. Don't count out the elderly, most are young at heart.

Working in a nursing home here in Sydney truely opens your eyes to the daily challenges faced by the elderly, particularly when it comes to feelings of loneliness and sadness. Seeing Dorothy, at 102 years old, embark on this journey was nothing short of remarkable. This would have brought so much joy and excitement back into her life, and it has reminded me, and I bet many others, the importance of creating special moments for our elderly population, who have given so much throughout their lives.

Well I'm 29 and have been unemployed for most of my adult life due to mental health and, sometimes, honestly using it as an excuse to convince myself that I couldn't do something but you know, I just found a job recently and I'm feeling great, people I work with are chill and friendly and I don't feel so lost anymore. Got my boss and my supervisor noticing and complimenting me on the quality and speed I picked things up, offering me alternative positions which are easier and with a better pay only a few hours ago as of writing this. I've been there for a month now. Things get better man, take it easy on yourself but try not to get as complacent as I did for all those years, it's a downward spiral that doesn't end until you decide to stop and start climbing again.

It's Ms. Evelyn Vera doing, she's changed my life.

I started pretty low, though, $5000 thereabouts. The return came massive. Joey is in school doing well, telling me of new friends he's meeting in school. Thank you Evelyn Vera you're a miracle.

I love this video! Our elders are a fountain of information and advise. I have worked with our seniors for many years and I love it. I wish America cared more for them and their actual care.

KZbin video aside, real life wise, this is insane for a 102 year old to have happen for her and experience on so many levels and for them to endeavor

What an amazing lady! Dorothy has inspired me to not give up on my dreams. I have been suffering some ill health and I have been counting myself out of a lot of what life has to offer. I am going to stop finding things I can't do and start finding ways to do them anyway. Thank you Yes Theory and especially thanks to Dorothy and the other people at her nursing home.

This is incredibly touching and truly pulls at the heartstrings. As a nurse working closely with the elder population every day, I’m constantly reminded that while our bodies age, our minds and spirits remain youthful. Regardless of age, the desire for love and community never fades, and it’s never too late to embrace new adventures. Thank you for all that you do!
