Yet more upgrades and repairs to my souped up super duper 2006 Dahon Speed D7 folding bike

Hi all, it's been a while since my last Dahon video but I thought I'd share many upgrades and repairs I've done since my last video, as some of these were critical to being able to ride it altogether. In previous videos I showed you how I upgraded the cockpit, replaced the bottom bracket, and upgraded the drivetrain from 1x to 2x. Here I describe the critical replacement of Panaracer HP406 tires for Schwalbe Green Marathons that are faster, longer lasting, and puncture proof. I had at least three flats on the thin Panaracer tires on local roads. I also point out how I installed the rear derailleur hanger to rest against the dropout so it doesn't snap, which happened to me at least twice with two different rear derailleurs. I had to replace the original cassette due to wear and the second rear derailleur due to exploding on a ride, and so I replaced each with a Shimano CS-HG200 28-14T 7 speed cassette and a Shimano Altus RD-M310, respectively. The new RD has a large lower pulley wheel for extra chain capacity and the new cassette has a smaller range to prevent the derailleur and chain stretch that likely caused the short cage Shimano 105 I used to explode. Aside from the drivetrain, the additional most recent repair and upgrade was replacing the original stem with an aftermarket Litepro stem that telescopes for additional adjustability. The hinge mechanism on the original stem failed, but fortunately the mechanism on this stem seems much more robust. I did have to use a 5mm headset spacer to secure the stem and headset, but this was a significant improvement over the original stem which I didn't realize was not secured well enough, leaving lots of headset play. Despite all the work I've done on this folder, I'm really impressed with it, and look forward to it serving me far more than the 1192 miles I've ridden it so far.
