I've been a fan of saddle bronc riding for almost 50 years. My conclusion, long ago, was that lots of guys are capable of staying on and riding a saddle bronc, but few ride them technically correct and "purdy" (free arm straight back, lifting straight up on the bronc rein, spurring toes out from mane to cantle). Over the years there have been a handful of standouts like Monty "Hawkeye" Henson, Billy Etbauer, and Cody DeMoss. And now, the entire Wright clan. Lots of guys can ride, but few like that!

My wife is my biggest supporter. She's strong. I'm an oilfield hand so I'm away alot. Then days off I'm chasin rodeo. Lost my bicep in my ridin arm. But she still pushes me forward on chasin my dream. Again stayn home with the kids as im out chasin. Love that woman.

I have seen the Wright Brothers run before and I do not remember who it was but he was amazing! The horse was bucking and rearing and jumping like 6 feet into the air and he still stayed on! The Wright Brothers are my inspiration and I really want to be like them!

Great video and even better folks. After I posted the first sentence of this comment it hit me that Cody is an example of true grit, which is something we need is our society. There are people with half as many injuries that are as half as bad as Cody's that just sit at home and draw worker's comp because they really don't want to work but can.

Take it from me, who was raised around rodeo stockman, and rodeo cowboys. These animals are treated very well, and never are mistreated. Rodeo animals are given the best food, lodging, and medical care. Same with the cowboys who ride them.
