Really appreciate yeti for not "polishing" up this film and censoring the words. This film means a lot to me and I continuously find myself coming back to watch it again and again.

I’ve watched this video numerous times when i’m down. I’ve suffered from mental illness for about eight years (depression, anxiety, OCD). It’s been especially hard lately with thoughts of suicide and hurting others (either of which i would never do). I’ve seen therapists and meds were also suggested. The thing that hits me the most in this video is when Micah says “it’s really the struggle in life that gives things value”. I understand where he is coming from and what he’s doing with this program. I have the drive to get healthy and told myself that i’m going to get through all this stuff in my mind by doing what I love and being in the outdoors...fishing, hunting, riding horses, etc. I graduate high school in five months and my goal is to be healthy by then. Wish me luck. I’m going to comment on this video when i graduate and hopefully i’m a changed person by then. Thanks Micah for motivating me and helping me realize we all struggle in some ways and shouldn’t look to meds to fix ourselves.

Legit. I keep telling myself this same thing over and over again since I got out. Keep pushing myself mentally. It's a drug. I crave it. Micah, keep doing what you do.

Don't sell yourself short, Micah! You may think you haven't done much. But that's not true. You've created a place of healing and hope for these guys. Yes, they have to work through their pain themselves. No one can do that for them. At least here they have a place and are given some skills to be able to do that, among people who understand what they've been through. That's incredible. It's life saving!

Beautiful....' its the struggle in life that we find value'. finding 'value' again & pursuing what you value is the best tool against depression. What a great way in nature with these sensitive animals that require a special understanding and skill. Alchemy right there!

What a fantastic program. I am so glad someone understands and is helping these soldiers. I've always wondered how it's possible for them to go through what they go through and then come home to often mundane, "normal life" and be expected to function again. I am glad there are places and people who work with them to make that transition. I cannot imagine how hard it must be. I don't know why this is not talked about more often. You can't watch friends die, kill enemy soldiers, and see the other endless horrors of war and then be expected to just forget it all and go about normal life again like nothing happened.

this is a pertinent video. for it encourages anyone with ptsd to find your way to the "outside" or equally important, with animals.i did a combat tour in the field artillery in Vietnam. when we came back there was little to none support from va, and some of society persecuted a Vietnam vet. somehow I found my way to the "big outside" here in the sonoran desert of Arizona. it has been my medicine since all those years of returning started........I could almost assure a 100% healing if you get a vet with ptsd "out there" and throw in an animal in the menu!

what is the music ? 2 songs, not the intro, and not the sound samples the last horse I rode stopped so fast I fell off and it stepped on my shirt, and it sort of held me pinned to the ground, the horse was running so fast and there was a fence almost so close he would have either have had to jump it or crash into it.

6/10 Veteran Suicides are committed by veterans over the age of 55. (Majority of 9/11 veterans don't fit in that category) 50% of all veteran suicides are committed by veterans that never deployed (guilt) That was out of a 2017 VA study on veteran suicides. You're doing a great job but at the same time, you are missing the majority of veteran suicides.

Yeah not true man. There was a bit on confusion over the whole thing. I listened to a Joe Rogan podcast and it cleared it up. They know who the core clients are and they were gutted when everyone turned on them over a misconception. That's our world today, friends today enemies tomorrow, we humans love conflict.
