That was very well put together. Didn't realize that these animals are treated so much like professional athletes.

It’s so sad such an incredible one of a kind bull like bruiser is gone forever. I’ve never seen a bull perform like he did. I truly believe he was the greatest bull ever. He didn’t want to hurt anyone he bucked off. He went out of his way and almost fell himself trying to step over a downed rider. He didn’t chase he cleared his back and went straight back to the pen on his own where he got treated with grain after winning so that’s all that was on his mind after flinging them in the dirt

UK here, never really watched this kind of thing until Bruiser popped up in my feed for some reason and I was blown away at his amazing athleticism and the more I watched the more I saw how different he was from other bulls. He never tried to hurt and I think he actually tried to avoid stepping on peeps, he knew what he was there for and that was to buck, no malice and I think he loved his job and to come here and find that he really was a sweetheart n the relationship he had with HD just sealed it, he was the complete package, a star who loved putting on a show n giving his all and having such a wonderful nature. I got all teary when I heard that he'd gone way too soon, I don't think they'll be another like him but I hope he has many young 'uns coming on.

The mark of a good documentary is not just to inform the viewer on something they may know nothing about. It's to take something that may be completely unfamiliar and make the viewer not only interested, but emotionally invested in it. I know nothing about the cattle/rodeo business. I'd be terrified to be near such a huge animal. But this was brilliant to watch. Well done!

I support all " green, not animal violence campaigns " , but when they bring that cowboys and rodeo are animal violence I just can take it. Cowboys specially rodeo cowboys eat after their animals eat, is just so non sense to think rodeo and ranching is animal violence. Watching this video will change the mind of a lot of that kinda people.

Good on you for being able to see both sides. Most farmers/ranchers/cowboys are all good in that way. There are bad apples, but not as many as you may think.

Would love to know what breeds go into the mix to create these athletes, looks like a mix of Brahman, Droughtmaster and Charolais
@crocsin4wd6 жыл бұрын
Van Deman Ferrets Tasmania A lot of it is Brahman and Longhorn, with a little bit of whatever else thrown in. A good example of a bull who wasn't cross but still bucked well was Bodacious, who was all Charbray. Breed isn't so important as whether or not they're gonna buck, bur certain breeds will generally buck better.
@ropinandranchin6 жыл бұрын
Jacob Tester charbray is a cross. Charolais x Brahma
@vandemanferretstasmania.ni95766 жыл бұрын
ropinandranchin a Charolais Brahman cross is called a Bramalais here. We take bulls that are born with a low birth weight to put them over Angus (Brangus), Charolais (Bramalais), Limousine (Bramaline), so that the cows don’t have as much difficulty calving. Bodacious was a gorgeous bull. Chainsaw was a legend until he passed away from a hoof infection
