In this episode, two old souls meet in the Texas Gulf Coast to discover what the land (and water) has on offer. JT Van Zandt shows Eduardo how fishing for redfish on the fly is done. In turn, Eduardo reveals that within the very terrain that might bite, burn or sting you, you can find enough vegetation to fill your apron.

I remember JT from the doc movie, “Be here to love me”, about his dad and instantly recognized him in this piece. Had no idea he was a fishing guide on the LM where I was born and raised. Very cool stuff! His dad is a GOAT

I think this video is inspiring due to friendship. Then being able to enjoy each other’s presence and do what they love and know to do. Society now tells us to be something by a certain age; if we haven’t gotten to those “societal expectations “ we have failed. This looks and feels so much better. I’d give many days of regular schedule (which I love) for this. This is very fascinating.

I'm from SwFla way down south on Gulf and that part of Tex Gulfcoast looks awesome !! Uncrowded and not condos all along the coastline!! We have a cottage in Steinhatchee Fla up in Big Bend of Fla and its same way up there uncrowded and still pristine water and wilderness!! I am neighbors with Butch Hancock in Terlingua and he performs an annual tribute every new years to Townes. Would love to have you come and boat the Rio Bravo and soak in our hot springs and enjoy the dark night sky.
