As a fellow hmong brother i support you and your channel i lose my dad may 14 2023 he was a veteran of the secret war and he pass away at 71 year old and i wish i had memory like you with your dad my dad love hunting always listen to him talk about hunting in laos when i started hunting and was old enought he was Already old cant go out hunting no more never had a hunting memory like your guy

Awesome hunt, nice critter. Listening to your Dad gave me flashbacks. Back when I was a kid, we had some Hmong that moved to town for a year or two. I hung out with them and the extended family a lot, besides school. We took them deer hunting (Grand Coulee area), and they got a couple decent mule deer. Different animal than then hunted at home, but we weren't really teaching them anything! They set upon the deer and had them ready to load pretty fast, they were excited. Always wonder what ever became of them after they moved to the actual civilization..... Thanks for the flashbacks.

Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. All my brothers are great elk hunters. This bull was located by my younger brother the day before. Cheng just happened to be the one to go back there to relocate him while everyone else went to look elsewhere.

I never did get my dad out hunting. He stopped hunting in the 80's. I was trying to get him to at least ride around the woods a few times. He died two years ago at 62. I did get him on a fishing trip about 10 years ago.
