YFZ450 zip tie mod

this is to fix the bogging when you first hit the throttle
i had better throttle response after i did this :)

does this make it run not as lean my pipe glows red hot heard I should jet or or make it run less lean

Every 450 pipe will glow red. If it's Backfired and sputtering then it needs re jetted

because a zip tie isn't fixing the problem it's half ass'ing it. there are rebuild kits that fix the problem not knocking people that love this "mod" but I wont put my faith into a zip tie nor am I willing to put one in my carb.

JD makes a rebuild kit that come with a bunch of different jets and kneedle and o rings that will fix the issue

That is true tyler, this is just a cheap and easy way to fix the issue. i did notice a small difference and do not know of any down to the mod. to each their own when doing stuff to their machines.
