Why are people so reluctant to support Lydia? She has a good voice and amazing control, she's a great dancer and she produced some of our favorite YG songs. I would image more love for someone like that rather than all the hate I'm seeing in the comments. She's American. Of course her cover was going to be in English. It's not in competition with Tablo's just because of the language. She did it the way she was most comfortable and it flows nicely like the original. You don't have to bring this down just because you prefer another version. IT'S ALL YG.

THIS is what a true cover is. Akmu, Tablo and now Lydia are killing it. They've made the song their own style! I love how their covers reflect their interpretation of the song. Akmu was innocent and pure, Tablo had a "fuck you, I'm better off without you" type of vibe, and now Lydia is singing the song from the girl's point of view! I'm sorry I just really love yg's idea of covering Taeyang's beautiful song within the yg community because they're doing it so well! Seriously, Eyes,Nose, Lips has an eerily haunting but beautiful feel, and every artist has their own way of conveying it, as I noticed Tablo's was somehow driving away something, while Lydia presents an incurable longing (?). Whoever wrote the melody of this song too is a genius. Damn if the song doesn't make you cry, I don't know what will. YG has all my respect for this. Anyway does somebody know how many covers will be done?

I completely agree, this track is both haunting and beautiful. Even with all of the covers I've heard i keep looking for more. I appreciate YG's artists are creatively expressive and that they are encouraged and given a platform to grow. For me each cover brings something special to the table: Taeyang-Regret; Akdong-Innocence of First Love; Tablo-Anger; Lydia-Realization you have to love yourself enough to Let go.

Don't see why people hating on this version. You may choose to not like it but please don't bash it like it's worthless. It's still a really beautiful song sung by a beautiful voice with tons of emotions. I agree that the lyrics were somewhat awkward and forced but it worked well enough with the melody to make it a smooth flowing piece. Loved it and congrats to YG killin' it once again. :)

She is working in YG like dancer and choreographer, she sometimes do some covers of the songs of the artist of YG i don't know if she want debut or no but she never said nothin about this.

I was at a KCON pannel where she talked about it. She said she is too busy choreographing and COMPOSING songs for YG's artists (yes, she is a songwriter too) that she haven't had the time to write for herself, but she's very looking forward to do it! We will have Lydia's album in the near future.

My boyfriend and I were together for 4 years and then on our 3 year my boyfriend cheated on me. Got somebody pregnant and hid it from me. Until when I was at the gym the girl started haunting me. My boyfriend said that she was crazy and was so into him that she started stalking him, and I was stupid enough to believe him. Until on my birthday I saw pictures of them getting married behind my back. I was so hurt and my eyes were puffy on my famiy dinner for my birthday. My brothers were hurting when they heard me cry at night. The funny fact is that the girl was pin pointing me that I am the mitress, when in fact that she knew he had a girlfriend and made her family force him to marry her! Until now I am just hurting. When I listened to this version it just brought memories...but I love her voice so much, you could really feel the pain behind the song!

For everyone confused, Lydia is one of YG's Producers. She is also a dancer but I don't think main dancer. She danced in GD's one of a kind. She was a part of Quest crew ( a famous American dance crew which one America's best dance crew) She was actually one of the founders since about 15 or 16. She got into it because she wanted to learn how to b-boy. I also heard people say she is a model for YG but I can not be certain about that myself. I don't think she is singed with YG like a contract, but rather just a employee who YG artists decide to collaborate with because well they work along side her and she has a amazing voice like in R.O.D with GD. Fun Facts: She dated a guy named lando of most wanted crew when she was in the US. I doubt they are still together Block B's Zico said he wants to collaborate with her (Yes Please) She made a special appearance with Quest Crew on So You Think You Can Dance a few years back She was In The baddest Female and Mino's I'm Him Worked alot with J-Reyes a Korean American rapper, he is really good. She has several Tattoos.
