Great job, love your stuff but I have one tip for you. Put the wheel bolts in by hand because you can very easily strip a thread using impact wrench, that would give you huge problem and cost for this kind of car. Great job, keep it up!

Very nice work indeed Jim. Surprised you use the iBrid as much as you did because I love the tool, you can be so inovative. I don’t feel alone on that now. Sod that rushing, the iBrid gets it done in those difficult areas and more control, just takes patience. Be nice to know what MF pads you were using, just found some myself to try. I use the 3” foam on the PPF and feel comfortable. Again,patience. Excellent job.

So many miss aligning wheel center caps. Especially tire shops, they always look at me funny when I try to explain why I want them left off so I can align them.
@2of2DCH
@2of2DCH 6 жыл бұрын
You missed the purpose of what he did then. Center caps, once popped in, don't normally move, which you can see in the vid as he had to pop them free from the backside. So by aligning the foot to the horse to the valve stem the center cap is aligned the same on every wheel. It's a minor thing, but makes for a cleaner look. For example on my VW every center cap is aligned with the notch in the W directly inline with the valve stem.

Question: After washing the vehicle and moving to the drying stages using the blower, do you find debris disturbed by the blower from the crevices that have moved out in the open to the adjacent panel potentially scratching the panel on subsequent wipe down? If so, do you have a method to mitigate the possibility for those scratches? Thanks! And thanks for the videos, very informative.

Jim I’m doing details in 2 days for people who think I’m ripping them off at £150 to £175 at the most and maybe shampooing seats and carpets and trying to remove scratches that someone previously have been at with t cut and once they used brasso on a £50 k merc . If I charge more they just don’t come back and dare I mention ceramic coat at an extra £50 , any ideas where I’m going wrong as I had to stop as it’s costing me money and I took COVID and lay in hospital for a month so customers are all gone probably so I’d like to return at a higher spec

Just wondering how you view your long term health in this game ? Good to see you have hearing protection of sorts but I don't see any means of ventilation/ dust extraction in the unit. There must be a shit load of dust created and without protection your lungs are taking plenty of that in. Also rsi and white finger should be considered with constant use of power tools. Lastly, the grey hair brought on by stress .. just for men has that covered.
