can we clean with a rag and by hand cleaning the inside of the throttle body? The problem is that when we start the engine after the cleaning the rev goes up and down and up and down. Someone told me that the inside of the throttle body do not have to be touched

That is true. Special care is needed when cleaning the inside of the throttle body. We must not push too much the throttle butterfly to make no damage. Eso es verdad. @@YiannisPagonis well i have a Toyota Corolla 95 and i remember the symptoms that the car was having so i googled the symptoms and that gave me an idea.. since its a 95 it doesnt have a obd2 thing so i did the paper clip hack.. it gave me code 71.. so its narrowed the problems down to a couple of things! Found out that the egr valve was leaking watched youtube videos told me exactly how to do it even if the car they were working on was not the same as mine it still gave me an idea.. i fixed it it started running with just a slight problem that when ever i turned to the right the car wanted to turn off.. i narrowed the problem down to the iac valve and throtle so i watched your video did it like you did and here i am with another working car!! 😁

@@YiannisPagonis but i did have trouble removing the iac valve the screws that holds it was soooo hard to remove and i kinda ruined the inside of the screws cuz i couldnt remove them.. is there an easier way of removing really old hard screws??

They were really hard to unscrew.. and when i stuck the screw driver the + was gone it was just a circle.. but i put some WD 40 and i used channelLock and the got unscrewed.. i was just asking for future reference best way to remove tight screws.. like i said im a girly girl and dont have as much upper body strength as men do.. but my car is running perfect!!! Thanks for your video it has helped me a lot!!!

Do you have to remove the throttle body off of the car or can you clean it using a rag and brake cleaner with the throttle body on the engine?

For best results you must remove the throttle body and to clean the two sides of it.

@@samisweet6989 Yes, in the future there may be a problem with the throttle body or the air supply to the engine cylinders. So you need to connect all 2 cables to the throttle body so you don't have any problems. Don't neglect that.

Yes you can use break cleaner or carburettor cleaner. These are very strong for this job.

It was easy. The only difficult time i had when i was trying to remove the intake hose from the throttle body as if it were stuck. Im planning to get a new hose for that since i found a crack. I used cyclo carb cleaner and it works very nice!

Yianis where are you from? he is asking,River Browning you do need to clean/jet wash the engine when it gets too dirty otherwise parts may not work so good,i always spray WD/40 everywhere on my Yaris 2002 engine bay and underneath every 3 months to stop rust and my car has no rust at all.
