Your Tsoureki is a work of art. I buy this bread here in Dayton, Ohio at the Greek Festival each September held at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox church. Such a fun and delicious festival.

My Yiayia's recipe was lost years ago and all my mum and my aunts remember is that it had twelve eggs. I will try your recipe and see if it is the same. I would be so happy if I get to taste my Yiayia's Tsoureki again. Wishin you and your family a happy Easter and stay safe!

Depending on where your family originated, some people use mastica instead of mahlepi.
