Thanks for the vlog, it was a blessed addition to my Friday! Just a grammatical doubt: on the thumb one reads "mayne rayse to finland", if got me a little counfused cuz it sounds plural to me, given the final -e. I learnt that, unlike German, Yiddish possessive pronouns didn't differ by gender but only by number.

I honestly didn’t think into the grammar rule while writing it. I wrote what came naturally to me as a native Yiddish speaker without thinking it over. So you may be right about it being more grammatically correct, but chasidish Yiddish is full of spoken grammar mistakes.

Ohhh you meant the e in mayne! Mayne bad. I have a book called indzer rayze (also chassidish btw) that doesn’t add an ayen to indzer.
