Combat isn’t amazing but at worst I think it’s just mid although I enjoyed the og combat I’m exited for the new system, wouldn’t say the dungeons are bland lots of cool visuals and music packed with meaning Vellas and essentias mind dungeon stick out in my mind, really enjoyed the puzzles, also not sure what characters you found annoying, I commonly see Alex being the one people find annoying (even though his dialogue is hilarious and intriguing to me) but the other guys are pretty good interesting characters and they don’t act as bratty as Alex does, personally can’t think of any of their interactions that out right annoyed me

@@ilikegoblo4665 alex overdescribes everything with worse pacing than a sci adv visual novel, the combat was also elongated by the drawn out minigames and dodging prompts unlike a paper mario or legend of dragoon, the dungeons were extremely simplistic and the characters were obnoxious nerd stereotypes with nothing funny to say since even when they have a gag they stretch it out for too long. Like that one scene where they go on a tangent about claudio picking locks not because he's a black guy but because he had a lockpicking phase
