this one is really good! gotta love that main theme motif, its a little more subtle in this one (though its hard to miss) given the fact it actually has its own melody outside of it which is great.

I'm on Chapter 4 and this along with two other tracks I haven't found yet have been the only real good thing I've found about YIIK. It's trying so hard to be Mother and it just doesn't do anything right that Mother did right.

YIIK doesn't try to be mother, it's trying to be like a Haruki Murakami novel. He's a very notable postmodern author and the story is postmodern and inspired by his work. The meaning of the seen Mother inspiration really makes sense when you understand the deeper meaning of the story

I love the vagueness of it “trying to be mother” seems like we played a different game my guy since I didn’t feel like it was trying to be or was mother at all, im also sorry to hear that an indie game and the second game made by Ackk studios didn’t meet your weirdly high expectations
