i really love your videos because you are reliable but also realistic. You do admit you love makeup and get stuff but also mention that everything is not worth it. I dislike creators who are monotone and one sided and (eg. people who make you buy everything or people who shame you 24/7 and want you to not waste money ever). I like that you have the balance. Also a genuine question to everyone : which foundation do you like best? Dior forever glow, Haus labs or Nars longwear? I have dry skin and the elf halo glow didn't work well with my hourglass palette at all, it picked up my foundation and made it crusty asf

Thank you for this feedback. I prefer not to be on one extreme or the other and I’m grateful you get it! I would direct you to Haus Labs, it’s very hydrating and plays well with other products. I have oily skin and love it as long as I set and prime. ♥️

if you’re looking into for a palette with a navy eyeshadow, i highly HIGHLY recommend the nyx ultimate palette in blue jean baby. i’m obsessed with eyeshadows and this palette just hits it right- it has AMAZING shimmers, and i just absolutely adore the color story (browns and blues mainly).

setting a budget for the sale was the best thing i did. when i went in store i added everything i wanted to my basket and then had to force myself to really think through what i actually wanted to purchase. if i didn’t set that budget i definitely could’ve spent $500 easily 😅😅

I bought three things during the sale and that is it. I have decided what I like my shopping experience to be, in store is NOT it. I also prefer to shop Dior and Chanel websites, much better experience for me. No sales, but the trier rewards are VERY satisfying for me. Also Dior customer service has went above and beyond for me.

It depends on what you’re looking for! But in general I have always loved the It Cosmetics CC Cream, especially the natural matte for oily skin.

I’ve been making a list since August of things I wanted from this sale, and I just got my order today! I’m definitely done buying anything from Sephora until the next sale lol. I got a couple perfumes that I’ve sampled and loved, and I got the urban decay moondust quad and it’s gorgeous! the only thing i’m kinda disappointed about is the refy blurring lip liner, the effect is very subtle on my lips, but i’ll definitely use it still

ooh i'm looking forward to your thoughts on the one/size primer!! i've been looking for a mattifying primer but there are so many (i think one/size even has another primer for oil control in the pink packaging?) and making a decision has been hard. i loved the way the oil sucker primer felt swatched on my hand though, so i'm leaning toward it over all the classic recs

I have both the Danessa Myricks Water serum primer and the One size oil sucker. They are completely different in terms of texture, finish and wear. I find the danessa one is more of a natural to soft matte feel. the one size one s a heavy duty mattifying primer. I reach for the one size one for my t-zone and the danessa for the perimiter of my face, but I use the one size one waaaaay more.

@ ofc! the one size primer is amazing ; just make sure you allow it to dry (it will turn white, it’s supposed to do that) before you apply any product on top to avoid peeling. to get ridbof the white cast (if it bothers you) i spray setting spray to get rid of it and it gets rid of thr white without messing up the primer :)

I got the UD quad, 4 Sephora pro brushes, and restocked the CT setting spray. I still haven’t gotten any of my items though, and placed over a week ago. We had 4 snow days in a row, and then I wasn’t home when they came by today. 😭
