There is a huge mistake concerning the Palestinians who participated in the 1992 elections. Those are Shia muslims and not Sunni muslims who fled from the seven villages (القرى السبع) in 1948. The southern lebanese claim that these villages including Salha and Tarbikha were supposed to belong to lebanon but were separated from it by the Brits. Those Shia palestians were granted the lebanese citizenship in 1994.

44:05 Wow that's slimey. No one who is serious about this subject is saying that the IDF deliberately kills civilians because it's evil. What people have (rightly) critised the Israelis for is not particularly caring who gets in the way of their strategic campaigns. A better question might be why were artillery bombardments being used in a counterinsurgency campaign? Why was the IDF helping to maintain SLA detention practices which resulted in torture? Why did the Israelis never apologise or compensate the victims of a 1984 IDF shooting at a Shia procession killing 3, and how might this have contributed to Hezbollahs rise? These aren't just lazy justifications for terrorism or antisemitic slurs. People had, and have, serious questions as to Israeli operations in the Middle East. That section was just disappointing, because I was very much enjoying a different perspective which was clearly well researched.

I dont really understand your perspective when it comes to civilian deaths. When its Hez, they are doing it deliberately as a way to pressure Israel, when Israel is doing it, it’s an accident “bases on evidence”

It's intentional when Hezbollah does it because they explicitly said it was, which lines up with their explicit goal of genocide of the Israelis. The Israelis only end up killing civilians when Hezbollah fighters are using civilians as human shields, launching attacks from civilian population centers, or placing their weapons stockpiles in tunnels and bunkers beneath homes and businesses. Hezbollah does this hoping to deter Israeli retaliation, and if that fails they know there will be greater anger at the IDF for retaliating than at Hezbollah for intentionally putting civilians in danger.
