tbf this isn't really a beginner tutorial. it shows the process which is incredibly useful if you already have some practice with drawing, but not so much it you're starting from scratch. for example I've never drawn lips by starting with circles, so that was neat to see and I might try it next time

@@CharlRoberts I think it depends on the level you are at ; beginner I would say eyes, nose, mouth first. Here for this drawing the person has more experience and also get help from these «guide lines» you see before drawing eyes, nose, mouth. If it’s a fictional character you’re doing any order goes. But if it’s a real person you’re drawing the three elements mention before are really important; it will catch the «essence» of a person, without being precise as a photo. Personally I think not all people are good at that, it takes a special talent. One good book I can suggest if you are learning drawing is «Drawing on the right side of the brain» by Betty Edwards. (you can also get a workbook with the same title)
