This always gets me. Lovely to see your reaction. I'd recommend checking out the special relationship between the Welsh and the African American bass baritone, actor and political activist Paul Robeson. He was received fondly in the mining communities in Wales from the 1920s onwards and played the lead role as the hero in the 1940s film The Proud Valley. He is still regarded as a hero in Wales.
