Very good! Glad you mentioned the excessive filing being an issue for lifting. I was struggling with learning that in the very beginning.

What about lesson for when you are doing your own nails... it’s so different and I think it’s harder.! Esp. applying the forms (w/1 hand).. using your non dominant hand etc !?
@youngnailsinc Жыл бұрын
We have many great videos available on non dominant hand work here on our channel.

I'd like to know if it is or isn't necessary to put acrylic structures in a L.E.D./U.V. lamp for it to be fully cured or will it become fully dry on its own

It will set on it's own.

Are you able to do on video preping real cuticle using only nail files ? ❤️
@youngnailsinc Жыл бұрын
We recommend using the efile with a medium sanding band to thoroughly prep the cuticle as this will get right into the cuticle area. When using a hand file, you don't get the accuracy that you do with the efile.

I have a question.. or questions! I noticed that some people like my MIL, when having acrylic nails their nails seems raised. In other words, it’s not curved down or straight. When having the hands flat down you can clearly see the nails look like it’s pointed upwards. I haven’t practiced on her yet but I have seen some people with nails like that. Why is that? Is it the nail tech or just the way some peoples nails are. My MIL is a nail biter so I wonder if that’s the reason. I’m just worried to come across nails like that because it seems like the nails don’t last long anyway because they pop off. Thank you 🥺

That's called a ski slope nail. It is possible to straighten the look with enhancements, but it does take a different application approach. If done properly, the enhancement should last just like any other. I find using paper forms is the easiest way to correct the issue, but it can be done with nail tips as well. I would search for videos on ski slope nails and how to correct them. Hope that helps you!

With this type of nail, we recommend cutting the natural nail back as much as you can and then working on them as if they are bitten nails. Here is a great bitten nail video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ravVkmirmbuXd8k
