Ty I struggle really badly with shaping. No matter how beautiful the design/art it’s nothing without a beautifully structured foundation. I give me so much go inspiration “IM GONNA NAIL THIS”😂💃🏾

I would love to see you do a sculpted coffin on your middle finger or thumb because you look like you have quite wide flat nail beds . Hope this doesn't sound rude , it's not meant to be rude in the slightest, you just have the type of nail bed I struggle with. Thank you in advance x x x

Can you do a extra long stiletto now, and a shorter stiletto showing the height of each arch and position. This was a perfect video, thank you for doing it 💜💜💜

Thank for all the helpful information! I understand the position of the apex is dependent on the length of the nail. The longer the nail, the further back it needs to be. My question is. How do you appropriately determine the proper height the apex should be for the length you've created?
@thearmchairjournalist5663 жыл бұрын
I asked that too 😂 on a different video

@@ruli102 I’m doing my tech course in the new year and only work with gels at the moment but practice on a plastic hand with acrylics until I’m more proficient. I often worry my extensions are too thin as I think they look like hookers nails when they are thick 🤣🤣🤣 I would love to know the thickness in mm of the tip and the same for the height of the apex, then I will know if I’m constructing it properly without my personal biases coming into play!
@ruli1023 жыл бұрын
@@thearmchairjournalist566 I have a plastic hand too. I don't want to do this professionally. I just want to be able to do my kid's nails and my nails, maybe one day, my grandkids' nails. Yes, having the appropriate height without the nail looking to thick is what we need to learn. I wonder why all the comments but mine got a heart from young nails???? I didn't even get a response to my question 😕. Oh well, keep watching and learning is all I can keep doing. Good luck to you! I hope you get the hang of it.

@@ruli102 they don’t ‘like’ every comment, usually only the ones soon after posting coz they’re probably busy. I got told the thickness of the tip should be about as thick as a credit card - which is about 2 - 3mm (I think it was Lucy that told me that), I can only estimate the rest coz the camera makes it hard to guess 😩 Best wishes with your efforts, when I do my course I’ll come back and tell you 💅💜🎉

When using the e-file, if I accidentally file more of what I should can I just put some protein bond and add more acrylic or should I redo the whole nail?

At 21:42 the nail you are filing pops off - I have your training hand but am always surprised at how you get it to click in 3 times to give you a realistic-looking cuticle. What am I doing incorrectly to not get that look?
@youngnailsinc Жыл бұрын
The popping it in 3 times has nothing to do with how the cuticle looks. Here is a video: instagram.com/reel/CSFJyNlJnZw/?

Can you show us how to do acrylic on ppl with the ski jump nails? I have them and it's so hard to put forms.on and even acrylic is a little harder to put on as well without seeing the jump at the free edge. Please and thank you xo
@youngnailsinc3 жыл бұрын
We recommend cutting the nail as much as you can and then continuing with the form as if working on a bitten nail.
