Hi I'm your neighbour. The limiter only works for your recording :p Looking forward to the video where you show us a dashoard made with these displays!

THIS ending was very funny. I think my neighbor just complained because I laughed so loud. ALSO it was positive because laughter is important, especially in this day and age.

Segment LCDs are always cool - they are the one of the little unloved but ubiquitous bits of tech that have no real good replacement or alternative - little low power displays everywhere when you look for them. They are absolutely indispensable.

I could be wrong, of course, but if anything: don't try to make an "interesting video" out of something you're not interested in! We are here for the most part because you are doing what is interesting to YOU. No one used to care about LCDs, much less their font. Your manner of storytelling and genuine interest is what hooks me. ☺

Did you know you can also get glowing flexible plastic that can be made with any design. Its quite dim though, and I forgot what it's called. When I worked for a glow suit dance show company called vospertron we looked at using it for some glow suits but it was a bit too dim.
