The best drummer of Big 4, always very underrated
@netrioter3 жыл бұрын
Uh..that would be Gar Samuelson..he was a jazz drummer in the 70's with Chris Poland way before any of the Big 4 existed. That's why the first 2 Megadeth albums had that groove to it.Drugs ruined his career though. The worst drummer obviously is Lars..hahahaha. Charlie and Dave is a toss up.
@87mmo3 жыл бұрын
Definitely! Charlie and Lombardo played the tasty bits.
@aboutthemetal87833 жыл бұрын
I love Dave Lombardo and Charlie Benantte, and it's nearly impossible to pick a favourite out of the two, for me Dave Lombardo was and still is the slightly faster of the two, but it's Dave's fills that are just next level, the fact that he's left handed but plays a right handed set up allows the fills to sound so different to everyone else.

This is such a killer tune, Back in the 80's this is 1 of the main tune's we'd mosh to in our front yards, Gung Ho, Hell Awaits, Among The Living, Angel Of Death, Darkness Descends, Power Surge! You get the idea, Anthrax was a staple to our music back then and still is NOW! Killer band thru and thru!

I put Gungo-Ho ready on the tape and set the alarm. I never saw my mom stand up soo quick, run to the living room and switch the stereo off! I think she Never ran as fast. When I checked the tape‘s counter, it ran just for 7 seconds!!! I don‘t know what happened to the neighbours that morning 😅

@blppt3 жыл бұрын
@@yeetfeet1878 He had to learn those two songs for the FIRST TIME two hours before the show, because nobody knew Lars wasn't going to play. Secondly, he messed up on Battery because he was playing the right tempo for the song, and Metallica tend to play it slightly slower live. And add that stupid "Are you alive?" crowd pumping segment in the middle of the song. Joey Jordison, OTOH, grew up covering Metallica and has probably played all of those songs a thousand times.
